    Attorney Cade Parian Elected President of University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation

    Attorney Cade Parian was recently elected to a two-year term as President of the University of West Georgia Athletic Foundation.

    The Wolves Club, established in 1980, is an independent, non-profit organization that provides essential support – through fundraising – allowing University of West Georgia student athletes to achieve excellence in academics, community service, and athletic competition.

    The vision statement that the Wolves Club lives through is to “Inspire Generosity. Exceed Expectations. Achieve Excellence.”

    Excellence is quickly becoming a hallmark of University of West Georgia Athletics under the leadership of President Kyle Marrero and Athletic Director Daryl Dickey.

    The football team won back-to-back NCAA Division II Super Region 2 Championships and appeared in the national semifinals.
    The men’s basketball team reached the NCAA tournament for the 2nd year in a row and won the Gulf South Conference tournament in 2016.
    The co-ed cheerleading squad won the UCA Division II Championship.
    The baseball team won 42 games, the second highest number in school history.
    More than 25 student athletes earned were recognized as Ingram Scholars, the school’s highest academic honor.
    Over 150 student athlete were named to the Gulf South Conference All-Academic Honor Roll.
